fourth day: leaving pattaya for nakornnayok

as always, mom and i woke up before anyone else. we walked out of the house heading to the beach. today, mom could take a walk along the beach. not long after, joon and phun joined us. i tried to get phun play with the waves and stand on the sandy beach but this boy was still scared of them..

i will wait until he grows up a little bit and i will train him to be a beach boy like antie and big sis py...

jomtien beach was still quiet at 6 am. we couldn't see sunrise here bc it was shining behind tall buildings, not the same as in hua-hin.. there were some joggers and runners along the road. seeing them running, i missed my own running shoes.. (bc of the weights i had piled up since the first day of leaving home.. )

when the light was stronger, i walked back to the house to pick up py to play with phun in the playground. this morning, we would get ready and head for nokornnayok.. so before it was too hot, we let phun and py play until they got tired..

around 9 am, we checked out of the house..

along the way, my brother stopped at 4 region-floating market to look for something to eat for breakfast. we hoped to have southern foods here.. so we walked and walked looking for southern market..

firstly, we passed lines of northern shops, northeast, central and then south. quite a long walk before we reached the south.. but it was okay as we stopped along the way to take a look at their goods and souvenirs..

i tell you what.. i had fun taking mirror photos here, as there were heaps of them!

still, it was a streamy day.. phun and py might wonder.. what the hell were we doing here?? they looked sweaty and exhausted.

finally, we got there.. the southern food shop.. we tried kanom jeen with different kinds of curry.. but no.. they were not so tasty as the ones back home..

after breakfast, we kept on walking, looking, taking photos.. shop until you drop!

..like auntie like niece..

feeding milk to goats.. on the last day of our trip, auntie will bring you to feed sheep..

leaving floating market, we stopped by at silver lake again to buy some fresh grapes and grape juice. it was already closed once we got back to the car park yesterday..

at midday, we walked back to the minibus and headed to nakornnayok.. it took us about 2 hours to get there. all of us, except my bro, slept along the way until we arrived there. it was very hot outside the van and when we reached resort, it was even hotter, baking hotttt!!. we could feel sweats running down our back... so after checking in and leaving our bags in the room, we headed to a soil dam nearby.. and jumped into the river..

we didn't do many things in nakornnayok. we just chilled out by the river, drove around and looked for local food to eat.. next time, if we ever get back here again, we'd better come during winter when the weather is cooler than this..
