we left bangkok late in the morning after having breakfast at the hotel. we headed to Luang Por So Thorn temple in Chacherngchao. my sister wanted to bring her son, phun there to pay respect to Luang Por. she went there before to ask for a child. after so many failed attempts, my sister came here and asked for a child. not long after that, she was conceived with Phun..
the weather was very hot, sticky and burning. we went inside to pay respect to the Buddha Image of Luang Por So Thorn. then left for pattaya. checked in at the house owned by BJC, the company my sister works for. it was a big house near the beach. we just crossed the road and saw jomtien beach in front of us..
thai classical dance inside the temple
after checking in at the house, we headed out to have lunch at a restaurant suggested by my sister. and then we went to silver lake, another manmade tourist site in pattaya. the sun was setting when we reached there, not so baking hot. we planned to ride the tram around the vineyard. but the last tram had just left when we got there (sssshit). the guy working there kindly took us in another tram and chased after the last tram that just left..
my brother wanted to be a tram driver..
as, the driver stopped for tourists along the way to take photos, our tram managed to catch up with the last tram at the first stop. so we changed tram there..
our first stop was in front of the big windmill. the grass was green and hard bc of its being nicely madicured. the flowers were professionally planted and the screnery was beautifully decorated which looked alike Keukenhof park in holland.. two things missing here; tulips and chilly weather..
after the first stop, we hopped on the tram again to see baby grapes..
the tram brought us around showing the crops and garden plants and drove us back to the first stop but this time the driver drove the tram nearer to the windmill. the tram stopped here for us to take more photos..
we walked around playing and taking photos. when the tram was going to leave, we told the driver that we liked to walk back to the car park.
we walked leisurely in the warm sunlight, taking photos and chasing one another along the way..
looked like we were back to holland again but this time we didn't need to carry overcoat, gloves and scraf.. we just wore shorts and light shrit..
when we left silver lake, the sun already set leaving pinkish color on the darkening sky. so serene and stunning. line of hills were standing still surrounding silver lake and getting ready to call it a day.. as our tummies were still full of our late big lunch, we headed straight to the beach house. we took turn taking shower and got together in the common room.. there were some activities that we wanted to do together tonight..
py and i did some art work together in the cut and paste book i bought for her when we were in bangkok.
my bro and kla started playing gamble with the toy they bought in plearnwarn. they did it just for fun as the stake was not so high.. unsurprisingly, my bro won and kla lose..
my bro was teaching his wife how to play it..
around 11 p.m. i dozed off on the coach so i retreated to my room while the rest of us were still sitting there drinking and watching TV. good night pattaya..
